National Windscreens has been shortlisted in two categories - ‘Customer Service Award’ and ‘Fleet Specialist Services Supplier of the Year’ – and winners are being announced tonight at a special awards evening being held in London.

Pete Marsden, managing director for National Windscreens said: “As a company, we put customers at the heart of everything we do and I am pleased this has been recognised by us being shortlisted for these two prestigious awards and we are keeping our fingers crossed for tonight.

“Our dedicated fleet support service has recently secured contract renewals with major firms such as ATS Euromaster and the RAC, who all cited the company’s industry leading time to serve as a significant factor in their decisions.

“We have also developed a unique piece of software, ‘Partscheck’, which correctly identifies the exact piece of replacement glass needed for a specific vehicle by simply entering the Vehicle Registration Number. This means we can complete all windscreen replacement jobs ‘Right First Time’ enabling our fleet customers to get on with servicing the needs of their own customers.

“The fact we have a network of 108 fitting centres throughout the UK, which means the average driver is never more than 11 miles or 20 minutes away from a technician, also ensures our fleet customers can be assured or receiving a quick and seamless service,” he added.

The firm also has a UK Call Centre with capacity to handle over 1,000,000 calls per year and dedicated telephone lines for both fleet and insurance customers, ensuring they receive the best possible customer service.

First established in 1988, the annual Fleet News Awards aim to ‘recognise the best people, companies and vehicles in the fleet industry.’
