On 1st April, National Windscreens largest member, Cary Group, acquired 100% of Spire Windscreens Limited. Spire Windscreens is an existing member of National Windscreens and this move further consolidates the brand in the UK.
Peter Watters, board member of National Windscreens and MD of Cary UK, comments: “The acquisition of Spire Windscreens Limited is an important part of the continued alignment of National Windscreens. This consolidation across our UK operations generates strategic benefits throughout the business, with a particular focus on our market leading digital, logistics and sustainability programmes.
The strengthening of the Cary Group position within National Windscreens also brings opportunities regarding efficiencies and technological development, due to the Swedish company’s presence across 10 European countries.

Founded in 1985 Spire Windscreens Limited is a family-owned business providing vehicle glass repair, replacement and calibration services. The company has a team of 11 employees. This acquisition means Cary UK now controls all National Windscreens operations throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
