Lisa, who has been working at National Windscreens since 2013 developing business in the insurance market, said: “This new post reflects the emphasis that National Windscreens puts on the insurance sector and it is designed to help the company increase its continuously growing share of the UK market.

“We have formal direct billing arrangements with 70 leading insurers and maintain sole supplier status with many so we already have a very strong base on which to build.

“This appointment recognises the success of the business development programme we have been operating with insurers over the past few years and I am proud to continue this work in my new expanded role,” she added.

National Windscreens prides itself on delivering a reliable glass repair and replacement service that builds policyholder trust and competitive advantage for insurers.

Pete Marsden, managing director at National Windscreens, said: “Customer satisfaction is a key performance measure for insurance companies. Lisa has been promoted to this role to ensure we continue to offer a market-leading service to insurers, based as always on our UK-wide network of 108 fitting and calibration centres, 800 mobile technicians and a commitment that policyholders are on average, never more than 20 minutes or 11 miles away from a technician.

“With the number of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) equipped cars on our roads growing rapidly and set to reach 40% of all vehicles on the road by 2020, providing outstanding customer service to insurers and their policyholders requires continual investment and innovation. Over the past 12 months we have invested over £1 million in training and equipment to undertake ADAS calibration in every one of our 108 centres, providing a truly local, one stop service for replacement and calibration.

“But we are not complacent about our market leading position in this area and Lisa will be working closely with insurers to keep them up-to-date with latest developments and helping National Windscreens to provide insurers with a service that exceeds expectations in all areas,” he added.
