National Windscreens continues to build its strategic stockholding capacity throughout the UK with a new 32,000ft2 facility near its Pinxton regional headquarters in Nottinghamshire.

The new warehouse in Castlewood expands on the existing storage and distribution hub at Pinxton and complements other major hubs strategically located in Peterborough and Bristol.

The new Castlewood centre enables National Windscreens to increase both stock depth and range, with the facility becoming operational during June. The company now holds approaching £25 million of stock across its network.

Regional managing director, Mark Payne, comments: “Our long-term planning for Brexit required significant increase in our stock capacity to ensure service certainty. This has paid dividends throughout the pandemic as, in the face of global supply issues affecting the whole of this industry, we have maintained market leading time to serve.

“With our business continuing to grow and traffic levels increasing each month, this new facility is part of our commitment to ensuring we maintain our record for service excellence,” adds Mark.
