“Over the last five years, National Windscreens has invested in the infrastructure needed for the increasing number of electric vehicles (EVs) on the roads. The recalibration of ADAS technology is now a major part of the repair and replacement of vehicle glass.

“The centre is based at the Capital Business Park and provides windscreen replacement and windscreen repair services for the surrounding Cardiff area. The reception room has comfortable seating with Wi-Fi for our customers to use, with desks, coffee and EV charging available. These are all part of the first-class service we want to provide,” said Cyril.

Andy Rae, UK operations director, said: “The Cardiff centre is another example of National Windscreens’ vision of modern aftermarket windscreen repair. The service level at the Cardiff branch has been tremendous since the new centre opened and the consistency of the work from the technicians is impressive.

“The continued proliferation of EVs will continue to affect the aftermarket glazing market, the number of vehicles that require static calibration in our fitting centres will keep increasing. These changes are driving our strategy to create fitting centres with the latest technology and extra bays for the technicians to work in, with comfortable settings for our customers.

“Working closely with our insurance partners in insurance and fleet, we will keep providing the sustainable vehicle glass solutions the market demands,” said Andy.
