National Windscreens announced as Customer Service Excellence Awards Finalist

The award category was open to any company that highlights a product that emphasizes customer care and improves systems previously in place, demonstrating success of the product performance in regards to the customer journey. National Windscreens has been shortlisted for the award because of its right first time glass selection and one stop service for windscreen replacement and ADAS calibration, maximizing safety and convenience for policyholders.

The unique PartscheckTM system has now delivered 99.5% accuracy on right first time glass selection on over 1 million occasions. Some windscreen replacement companies are reported to have up to 50% wasted appointments due to incorrect glass selection. With PartscheckTM, all that is required from the customer is the VRN to get the exact windscreen match for the vehicle, including ADAS camera options. This avoids wasted appointments with the wrong glass and avoids having to ask many confusing questions of the driver about their vehicle. PartscheckTM delivers a massively improved customer journey, simplifying all aspects of the process, virtually eliminating this massive pain point for drivers, as well as delivering significant cost benefits.

National Windscreens has the largest UK fitting centre & ADAS calibration network in its field, operating 108 centres, employing over 800 mobile technicians, holding over £10 million of glass stocks and handling over 1,000,000 calls per year. The company has invested over £3 million on ADAS calibration technology and training to provide a one stop windscreen replacement and ADAS calibration service at every one of its UK locations.
