Tamworth headquartered National Windscreens, the UK’s largest independently owned windscreen repair and replacement specialist, is pleased to announce that Jan Teo has been appointed as managing director. Jan took up her new role on 27th November 2018.
This news comes after the recent statement that Pete Marsden is to retire from his position as managing director at the end of November. Following Pete’s announcement, National Windscreens conducted a thorough search of the marketplace and Jan’s expertise in planning and executing strategy, delivering commercial business growth, cultural development and transformation stood out among all the highly qualified candidates.
Jan has an impressive record of accomplishment in senior leadership roles with blue chip organisations, most recently as chief operating officer for Deutsche Bank European Service Centres and as chief executive at Birmingham Royal Ballet. Jan has strong experience in motoring and financial services sectors having previously directed service and business transformation at RAC, Lex Transfleet, Fraikin, Legal & General and Barclays.
National Windscreens director Phil Lomas, speaking on behalf of the board of directors, said: “Under Pete’s leadership, National Windscreens has undergone important and necessary change and is now a stronger company. We all look forward to welcoming Jan and believe that she will ensure the continued success and future growth of National Windscreens.”
Jan responded: “Pete Marsden will be leaving National Windscreens in great shape and I’m looking forward to leading the continued growth of the company and its highly respected brand. Our focus will remain firmly on the delivery of outstanding customer service through investment in people, innovation and technological leadership.”
