Significant new business results in recruitment drive

National Windscreens, the UK’s largest independently owned windscreen replacement and repair specialist, is currently recruiting to fill a variety of positions following a surge in additional business.

National Windscreens has significantly increased its brand profile throughout the UK and continued to invest heavily in what is now the UK’s largest fitting centre network in this sector.

An updated brand image has been rolled out through the UK operations, followed by this new website earlier this year - resulting in a 156% rise in online bookings compared with the same period last year.

This improved awareness of National Windscreens and its reputation for fast and accurate customer service in a market where significant disruptive changes have been taking place, has now resulted in a large number of jobs being created across the country.

Managing Director, Pete Marsden, comments, “National Windscreens operates the UK’s largest network of windscreen fitting centres and employs more than 800 technicians. We are looking to increase not only the number of glazing technicians we have out in the field, but also the number of call handlers we have here at our contact centre in Tamworth to ensure we can meet the growing demand for our services.

National Windscreens prides itself on offering quality automotive glazing services for all types of vehicles, at significantly shorter lead times than some other service providers. The company’s continued commitment to its fitting centres means that on average a UK motorist is never more than 20 minutes or 11 miles away from a National Windscreens technician.
